We have 2 fresh cloud servers that have been provisioned on our Rackspace cloud account. Both Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx).
web1:
requires setup for use as a web server.. it will host 2 php applications to be installed by the respective vendors.
ftp access reqiured for 3 ftp users
The server will also need to send outbound emails or we may opt to setup a 3rd server solely for smtp..
deb1:
requires setup as a dedicated mySQL db server... it will host 2 db required by web1.
2 databases
&
3 users each
Please use standard best practices to configure both servers, ports, security, etc... Your recommendations are very welcomed...
we will provide host panel access at your request..
