You are getting above error message with Varnish because Turpentine doesn't honour cli_buffer limit value. Will be able to get this corrected along with the PHP issues you are facing on your server. I've been working with Varnish, PHP, and MySQL for the past 4 years. I have 20 years of professional experience and a Computer Engineering degree from CMU. I've seen these issues before and they aren't really a big deal. We could get it fixed in about a day if you're around.
