countdown counter

a simple script in python/django needed. Basic idea is small private selling countdown auction. I put start price, min price and amount of days somewhere in config or admin of django. Ability to start the script. It will countdown every minute X amount from start price. X is calculated based on these values: Start Min Days Ability to Pause the script. Custom message is displayed when its on pause. User should able to see the countdown counter by entering a specific url. In other words its a simple countdown script, but instead of time user see money value dropping down.
