Android simple table of elements view built on data from the XML

As you can see in the attachment I would need an android app for tablet (e.g.: samsung galaxy tab 2) something similar to periodic table of elements. The application would get the data from an XML file from web or local. The XML file would have the data for the periodic system of elements: - abbreviation - title - order - section - group The app would have to calculate the view real-estate for the application. What is the width of the view to be able to position the buttons with the names of the elements into their position.
