Create a template for Jasper Reports using an XML file as a source. [login to view URL] A file with what a sample report would look like and the XML to be used as the source of that report are attached. Likely the easiest way to create it is via iReport. [login to view URL] These are both open source tools.
A report needs to be created like the one in the attached PDF (exact match on looks is not important - the data being there is, as well as the graphs at the end).
A servlet needs to be configured that will accept xml in input (from the query string), creates an XML datasource for jasper reports from that (try [login to view URL](new [login to view URL](new StringReader(myXmlText)));) and passes it to a precompiled jasper report from above.
The servlet can be in java, coldfusion, struts, etc. - your choice.
