Is this a clone project? Anyway. My bid is for migration of your SQL data to HDFS for mining. I will transport and preprocess (if needed) your data using Apache Spark to HDFS on the setup that you need. Please note that I am not a Map-Reduce expert and I will not be setting up a Map-Reduce application for you. Spark will be the only transportation and setup technology. Hello, I do large-scale, hadoop-based data warehousing and machine learning, usually for ecommerce / online media companies. I started working with data in 2000, at a major mobile telecom here in Bulgaria, I left in 2007 to continue as a freelancer and last year I established a small consulting company for that. Throughout the years I've developed code for and worked with almost all components of the hadoop ecosystem - for batch or stream- processing, for analytical or interactive purposes (say, using NoSQLs), with or without transactions, etc. Pretty much all the parts of the ecosystem have their pros and cons. In a way - you can think of hadoop as a way to efficiently utilize computing resources, so, I've adopted an approach where what I actually use comes out of figuring out which components offer best resource utilization for the given task at hand.
