Connection Sniffing (Legal)

Hi,
This is a network sniffer project for specific Flash Application. Please read the legal issues at the bottom carefully, there is nothing illegal.
There is a server and flash client. All you need is the develop a C# or Java application to sniff this specific connection between this 2 nodes and write the transferred data (data must be decrypted if it is encrypted) to a text box. No complicated interface needed. Application should work on Windows or Ubuntu, pick whichever you want.
Purpose of the project :
Flash client connects the server and server send some real time information to the client with direct TCP connection or anything else. We need to collect and save this information for statistical purposes.
This is a private project, I'll give the detail information up-on request.
Legal Issues :
*We are not going to sniff the all network and try to steal others information. We will only sniff the connection on our own computer.
*Application should not be hidden while working. User should see the connection is sniffed while working on the computer.
*The information that being transferred is not private, it is public. There is no privacy issues.
