This is what we are looking for in the contract hopefully (up for negotiations)
the kickstarter will be set to £10000
10% of all book sales in the kickstarter will go directly to the illustrator
Anything over the target will increase to 12.5% of profits from sales
after 6 months (or relevant time to satisfy customer orders from kick-starter) the books will go on sale on amazon (again 10% per annul)
Their is a huge distributor who are willing to pay a large contribution to the book and give us image rights to products of theirs.
This donation we are expecting to be between 3000-10000 (illustrator will get 20% this includes agent fees)
Their will be a 1 month advertising campaign with the COPYRIGHTED front cover, this will hopefully reach the thousands of children and parents across the globe. This i am sure will make the kick-starter/crowdfund a huge success.
illustration prices for the book i hope we can come to a good financial arrangement, the full cost of illustration will be paid out after the kick-starter is successful, if not their will be no obligation to continue with the book. although i expect a contract stating the completion of the illustrations withing a time period
I hope this is of interest as much as this is a huge dream, it will almost certainly help children with there medicine.
