Illustrate Something

I want to improve the illustrations on my nail clippers. Now they are old and have poor details. And recently we changed the printing method from silk screen painting to digital offset printing. As you know silk screen cannot express detailed design but digital offset can. You do not need to make new design because my customers are very familiar with the old designs. So, I decided to just improve the illustrations with more detailed touch. -Use and improve the outlines of old designs’ main object I think using the old outline is most important criteria for people feel the new illustration is from the old one. Of course you can delete some lines and add lines in the object especially for detail and better look, but still people should know the new drawing is originated the old. (This request has nothing goes with the backgrounds image because simply the backgrounds do not need outlines.) -Keep the proportion of the old ones. A size of an object also a good criteria for how much old & new illustrations are similar. -Rich color expression. Former illustrations are very simple and rather boring. So, please put rich colors in your illustrations. I think that it is most significant way to get our customers’ satisfaction. -Better classic, not cute or fancy. Please remember that, the customers should naturally recognize a new illustration is basically same as the old one meanwhile the improvement is noticeable at a glance and far more attractive.
