Design a Logo

Hello, I am requesting a new logo. I am a solo pianist and also offer other live instrumental entertainment. I would like my logo to be very easy to read and easily recognizable from a branding standpoint. I have attempted this before and ended up with a newly designed logo that I am ultimately not very happy with, but I am trying the process again. Attached is a copy of my old logo and my newest logo. My old logo was easily recognizable and easy to read, but I thought I wanted a more modern (or professional) look. The new logo, also attached, is certainly more modern, but clients tell me that my name is difficult to read and the like the old logo better because they know immediately that it clearly states that I am a pianist and have vocalists and guitarists and other musicians without having to think about reading anything. So, I am looking for something that is similar to my original logo, but more professional looking than my original logo, but also has a modern feel to it. Thanks, Arnie Abrams
