I need to implement a customized social network for my website. It is going to be a closed one means it will not be open for outside users to register. Just a set of users that I will configure. Some standard activity like newsfeed, profile, twitter type one way follower-following relationship, awards and badges to users on activity. I will prefer to start with an open source tool and then customizing it as required. Although other windows hosting technologies are welcome, I will prefer the code to be in .Net. If you have a demo page to show, let me know.
