We've been undergoing a website re-design for a little over a year now. The site is now live but the original developing firm we'd hired gave us a website whose code is littered with mistakes and bad coding practices. We've ended up hiring an independent developer but we've reached the extent of his expertise at this point. We've still got some bugs with the site and are looking for someone to not only fix the existing bugs but also work through the code and fix issues that have been causing other bugs to pop up. This project will not require any intense design element changes, we're happy with the way the site currently looks and just want it to work smoothly.
Attached is a list of items from our current SOW which includes issues that should give you ideas as to the kinds of issues we're encountering.
I cannot stress this enough. We are looking for the best of the best as we want our site to be perfect. Flawless functionality is our goal on both desktop and mobile. We are the best real estate law firm in NYC, we want the best website out there. If you are an independent developer that is fine, we're also open to working with someone whose got a small team. Accountability is a MUST!
