I am looking to have designed a P2P lending website. The features of this website would need to include the following;
Userend Features
- Create a directory like [login to view URL] where the directory will show number of lenders available and able to sort by popularity, loan amount etc.
- Borrowers have the ability to add a loan listing created by lenders to "Comparison" function so that borrowers can compare different loans offered by lenders (up to a max of 5 comparison)
- Create a Inbox messaging system so that members can send mesages to each other within the EPay system
- Users can also search for lenders and filter by lend amount, country, gender, categories and so on
- Lenders can create a new loan listing which will appear on the loan directory
- Each new loan listing will have the below details:
amount to lend
payment terms and payment schedule[i.e 1yr loan, repayment every month or 12months later]
interest rates paid to lender[how many %]
lender rating
loan title
loan description
link to lender's profile
QnA section
Refer to [login to view URL] for an example format
- A EPay account can apply to be a lender or borrower which the user will be required to setup a lender or borrower profile
An example of a lender profile: [login to view URL]
- Create an alert system (email and SMS) to notify lender that he/she has a upcoming repayment(3 days before actual repayment schedule) and remind borrower that he/she has a upcoming repayment(3 days before actual repayment schedule)
Alert will also be send to lender/borrower if borrower misses the repayment date
- Loan Dashboard. This is split into 2 parts: Lender and Borrower
Lender:
- See all loans (able to sort by status[completed, uncompleted], date, amount etc..) and has the ability to approve/reject loan request
- On clicking each loan, lender can view loan details and there is an additional tab called "Repayment History"
- Repayment History: this basically shows the repayment schedule and the amount and interest the lender gets into his EPay account balance
Borrower:
- Borrower can view his existing loans and also has the function in each loan to click on "Make Payment" to repay
*Note: For each repayment that the lender has gotten and each repayment that the borrower has made, it will be reflected in the user's transaction history. The same will apply when there is a fund deduction when a lender sends money to the borrower for a loan or when borrower receives money from a lender
*Process Flow
1. The epay user creates a lender profile
2. The lender creates a new loan listing and it will automatically be shown on the loan directory
3. The Borrower can browser in the directory and view the best offer to ask for a loan. Borrower will also need to further verify his personal details, he will be required to upload documents such as personal ID, bill statement with address etc..
4. Lender will review all new loan request to approve or reject
5. Once approved, the loan will automatically be disbursed to the borrower
6. Borrower then makes repayment during each payment schedule (on actual date or earlier) by depositing funds to his/her epay and then make the transfer
7. Funds will then be paid to the lender's epay account
8. In the event that a borrower missed the payment date, a notification via SMS/email is sent to both parties. As the lender will assume default risk if borrower does not pay, I do not recommend to charge borrower additional interest for late payment.
Admin Panel
- Inbox Messaging module
- Ability to manage lender/borrower profiles (search/view/edit profiles)
- Ability to manage loans (able to search/view/edit loans)
- Ability to manage loan module configuration, i.e categories, page setup etc..
- Admin can also determine the % percentage spread. For example, if % spread is 50%, and lender sets his interest rate as 5%, that means admin will get 2.5% and lender gets 5%-2.5%= 2.5%
Hi
My name is Ema and I'm leading a team of young and creative web designers and web developers, and I believe that every site or project it's different in it's own way, that's why a custom strategy/design must be applied for each client. Please let me know if my timeframe and bid are suitable for you, and let me know if we can have a further chat about the project.
