(show all your steps in the calculation) - What you can deduce from your answer for part a? Part II Explain the effect of the power-law intensity transformations on the input image intensities for the following values of gamma: (a) Gamma=0.20 (b) Gamma=2.50 The image on the right (Fig. 2) was obtained as a result of applying the following operations on the Input image (Fig. 1): · Multiplying the image on the left by (-1) x+y; · Computing the DFT; · Taking the complex conjugate of the transform; · Computing the inverse DFT; · Multiplying the real part of the result by (—1) x+y. Explain (mathematically) why the image on the right appears as it does. Part III You must submit your matlab code as a .m matlab function well commented. Also you must submit all figures and relevant images as part of your work. Question 4: 40 Marks Get the image of car park attached with the TMA and perform the following image processing operations on it: a) Read the image into MATLAB and plot it. (5 marks) b) Apply at least one built-in MATLAB function for intensity adjustment and plot the resulting output image. (5 marks) c) Convert the original car park image into grayscale and plot the output image. (5 marks) d) Apply histogram equalization to the grayscale car park image and plot the resulting image. (5 marks) e) Filter the grayscale car park image with the sobel operator and plot the output image. (5 marks) f) Filter the grayscale car park image with prewitt operator and plot the output image. (5 marks) g) Filter the grayscale car park image with Laplacian operator and plot the output image. (5 marks)
