A6 Magazine Publishing Work

We require a freelance designer on an ongoing basis to provide print ready magazine spreads for an A6 [login to view URL] magazine is produced three times a year and is aimed towards the 16-24 demographic. The freelance designer must have excellent Adobe Photoshop skills and InDesign experience is preferred. The designer will provide files as PDFs ready for us to drop into a 100 page InDesign magazine layout. When producing a magazine it is important to keep file sizes to a minimum, therefore we would ask that designs are supplied to us as compressed as possible, whilst also saving a version with layers should edits be required. Each magazine comprises of around 70 pages of creative and 30 pages of adverts. Most adverts are supplied to us and therefore it is the 70 pages of content which is required by the freelancer. Images will sometimes be supplied and other times the designer will be required to source for images to accompany the design using stock library's. If a good working relationship is established there is opportunities to expand on the workload. To begin with we would like to set a brief to see how the designer gets on with it, with the hope to increase the number of designs we outsource.
