We currently have a ecommerce site that specializes in consumer electronics, specifically Apple products. We would like a redesign of our site with funcationality for customer trade in of Apple products. The site would link to a database of the available Apple products we accept for trade and allow the customer to select their item from dropdown lists with radio buttons for the required options. Once the item is selected and the required options are selected the tradein/offer price is displayed for the customer. The workflow would then begin by automating the tradein process by sending the customer a link to login to the UPS site and complete the package and shipping information. The workflow would follow the process through receipt of the package at our facility, inspection of the package, approval or counteroffer based on evaluated condition of the item and final acceptance of the offer. Final step in the process will be an export of daily products accepted in excel formate. I am requesting the workflow be designed with gooey that integrates the visual aspect on the site. The workflow piece is one piece of the project. The second piece to the project is assistance building a product database for all Apple products. We currently have a small database that includes only a small subsection of the Apple notebooks and desktops. We are looking for a complete database that is based on the Apple model # for notebooks, desktops, tablets, phones & ipods. The database would include the Apple model #, description and configuration of the item. The final piece is a new retail site designed that ingrates the workflow piece and is designed on the Magento platform so we will have full itegration with our inventory management software. In order to do this properly I propose that we start with the third step. We need to first have the shop in place. After we have it we build the database and the admin module where you can fill in all the information of your apple products directly in Magento. This should take around 2 weeks to do.
