For the minimal viable product, or release one, the core features we would like to include, in the order of preference, are: 1. Content publishing: Content takes forms in articles, each individual article will include information of restaurants, attractions, and events. 2. Registration & Sign in: Members can either sign in with email address or other social media integrations. 3. User profiles: Aside from the username, avatar, and other standard profile information, user can also include their preferences and habits (e.g. whether they like doing outdoor camping or socialize in bars). 4. User Upload: Users can upload their own content through a review system. Where we can publish it if it's deemed appropriate. 5. Subscription & Newsletters - New members should be able to subscribe to a mailing list (I'm thinking mailchimp?) Secondary features: 1. Discussion and Review: The ability for users to post without review system, and their posts being given a specific rating indicating the quality of the post. 2. Messaging: Users can create their own private chat groups. And members who RSVP for an event will be automatically added to the event chat. 3. Ads: The ability to serve advertising in dedicated real estate.
