Hi There, I need a Filemaker expert to create a custom filemaker template for my customer database with a connection to Google maps mapengine pro. i need a custom built solution to store/organise/acces customer data. I am a person that is travelling a lot for business and i need a solution to manage/input the data that i am collecting (specific customer data) when travelling. This is a simple database without much functionality. I am travelling and visiting shops, i need a system to store the data that i am collecting during my visits. Ease of use and speed are keywords for this project so think buttons with logo's ,radio buttons and drop down lists. The goal is to create an idiot proof solution where i can quickly input my customized data on the road during visits. The solution is intended for mobile use on ipad. The solution needs to look nice in the colours of the company. For my daily planning i am using mapsengine pro, i would like to integrate this in my filemaker solution so i can acces my customer maps directly into Filemaker and link my points on my map to the correct customers in my database. I require someone who can communicate thru skype in English.

Hello. I´ve never used the Google Maps engine Pro, so I am not sure if that can be integrated to FM but FM can map any address on the address fields. I offer you a database that can be ran in PC, Mac and iPads. Now, how are you planning on syncing information from the iPad to your desktop or laptop? There are plug ins to do that, if you plan to buy one ask if the plug in price syncs ALL tables or if it has restrictions (like only five tables for a price and more expensive for databases with many tables). The other way would be to have the internet on your desktop connected to a static IP so you can use Web direct (if you use FM13) or IWP (if you use older versions). A third option would be to have a FM server or to rent the services of a cloud server so you can connect without much problems where ever you are in the world. A fourth option is to have a script in your file so it checks for new or modified records to update the main data base. This option involves a little manual work but it is the cheapest one.

Hello. I have good experience in Google API and Filemaker. First I would need to know much more in detail what it is you need.
