Cutomised API for Mindbody

The Pole Room is an organization committed to raising and improving the profile of Pole Dancing in Australia. The Pole Room needs to develop an online customized booking /schedule timetable solution to effectively manage its online bookings. The Pole Room runs courses, classes and workshops at their one location in Melbourne. We currently use Mindbody, which we hope to keep using and have a developer create a customized API - very similar to [login to view URL] but with specifications that are unique to our business. To understand the needs of the business, it is important to know the different types of enrolments and what they mean to the business and consumer: • Courses are 8 weeks long and due to the nature of being a dance school are run during a “term”. • The Pole Room has approximately 40 courses running that will start and end within the 8-week term. • Courses are progressive and when a student enrolls in a course they are enrolling for the entirety of the 8 weeks. I.e. an Intermediate pole dancing course runs on Thursday 5:30pm, every week for 8 weeks. • There are 6 terms in a year. Some terms will be 9-10 weeks due to Easter and Christmas • Due to sales and marketing, The Pole Room also runs 6 x 4-week courses mid-way through each 8-week term. This will ensure every month there is a new intake of students and revenue for the business. • Casual classes are run on an ad-hoc basis during the term. These classes are not progressive and there is no long-term commitment. Students are welcome to purchase a single casual class. • It is important to distinguish between the two types of enrolments – classes and courses. This is because we would prefer to separate the two types of enrolments for display on separate timetables The overall aim is to create an easy, simple and user-friendly online booking solution for displaying The Pole Room timetable, which will allow the user to book the pole course /class in a convenient manner. The scope of work would consist of: • Develop Customized Online Solution for Booking and Scheduling Timetable. • Users will be able to search for available slots of time as per their need and can book them. • User will be able to select classes and location. • Creation of two timetable that would display either courses or classes • Ability for the user to easily browse current and upcoming terms, click on a specific course time and enroll through the timetable widget • Enrollment of users • For each specific class, users will see two options i.e. Book Now, Waitlist. • Timetable/schedule will be rolling and will display the current term, with the option to select ‘next term’ • Timetable/schedule will distinguish between casual classes and courses Waitlist: will display when a class is full. For urgency reasons, when the class has less than 3 spots remaining, it will display “1, 2 or 3 spots remaining”. Book Now: This will allow user to easily book for the class as per his desired timetable and availability. Design to be responsive in nature (compatible with various types of mobiles devices like iPhone, iPad, Android Phones, Tablets etc.). We currently
