Artisan Cardigan designs

Experienced knitwear designer required to work with a start-up to develop three knitwear designs for knitting machine production. I have a few designs ideas that I want to use to create a small range. The garments are to be sold online. Manufacture can be in Australia (I would prefer) if I can find a proficient knitting machinist especially at this stage when there are just samples and a small production run. You need to have a creative flair, esthetically pleasing sensibility, interested in retro/vintage and Australian design. Designer must know about jacquard and intarsia pattern as the design will be fancy with a pattern motif. They will need to understand the gauge, (wool) types of yarn and content. It will be someone who knows about jersey point and pointelle and get the design ready for conversion to computer program for the knitting machinist to convert to specifications for the making of samples. I need a designer who wants to work on a commercial project and has the knowledge needed to go to the production level. I will pay by the hour or by task whatever will work best. I am looking for someone who I can work with who is willing to grow with me.
