Activity management Excel Template and Reporting:
Requirements:
1- 1st Excel sheet will be distributed over staff workstations, when accessing this sheet, they will need to enter their Staff Number and Password to log in and access the functionality.
• Users Table will have the following data {staff name, password, Staff Number, Department}
2- After login, they will find a button to click to open a form {Activity Log Form}.
3- This form will have the following fields to fill and save it into the DB {date, activity description, time from, time to, total hours spent, Activity Priority (high, medium or low), Activity status (in progress, waiting other action, delayed, completed, overdue), comments}. If he enters time from and time to, the total time spent is auto calculated, if he enters the total directly no need to enter from and to time fields. And the “Activity Description†would be a drop down list, either the user will select an item directly or will select “Other†so a text field will show up to enter the not listed “activity descriptionâ€.
4- 2nd Excel file to be used to access the reports Dashboard, this should show these kind of details based on the activities logs available in the DB for Single staff reporting and chart and or All staff report. The dashboard should have:
• Drop list to select Single Staff Name or Select "All Staff" and a calendar to select a date
• If selected Staff Name Only then the report and chart should display the following:
• A BAR Chart for Activity status and another one for activity priority showing the different types and their count on the selected date {for example in the priority chart you should show: High priority, medium and low and their count} for the status chart you show {pending, done, in progress, waiting other action...etc. and their count}
• Activity Duration Chart {you should show all the activities for this selected staff on the selected date and its time spent "duration"}
• If selected one staff name, you also provide a table listing all the activities available in the DB for the selected date with all details and at the end of this table you put the total count of activities on this selected date, total time spent.
** I need this to be done on MS EXCEL and MS Access 2010 where the DB will be placed in a centralized location and I need it to get done in 1 day from the moment I award the project to the freelancer! And to be delivered with all the sources opened with no password protection
• Again… the MS Access only for data storage.. no forms to be built there… all other forms and reports will be on Excel
