Designing an Ultra Wide Band Microstrip Antenna (UWB frequency range from 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz)
Substrate Material: FR4
Software: Either ADS or HFSS
Purpose is to facbricate it and then to test its properties like bandwidth, gain, directivity, S parameters, etc. in lab using Network analyser.
Height of Antenna – Any one (0.5 mm to 1 mm) - This would be feasible for us to fabricate it.
I would like to have the following details (with the deliverables):
1. Microstrip Antenna Dimensions (in mm),
2. Formula that has been used to find/calculate microstrip, antenna dimensions, and
3. Resonant Frequency considered.
I have one concern about the design:
Microstrip Antenna Design/Dimensions should be unique (different from already existing/published research literature).
Preferred Software Versions: HFSS Version 14 or ADS Version 10.
