Looking for circuit design.

This is for an alkaline battery charger, powered by batteries and NOT by 110V/240V home power supply.

When being charged, the voltmeter is not accurate as it reads 2.0~2.4V. When the charging is switched off, the actual voltage can be seen.

I need an electrical circuit design where the actual voltage can be seen all the time and the voltage is cut off at 1.85V (actual). Following which, there is a trickle charge where the battery is constantly being charged to maintain at 1.85V (actual).

Thank you.

Alkaline batteries: 1.5V AA size batteries.

Power supply: 1.5V X 4 ~ 6 AA batteries.

Batteries being charged: 1.5V X 2 AA batteries.
