There should be two spheres of same size. The Sphere should be hollow and made of thin plastic or iron sheet. Electromagnets should be placed around whole boundary of spheres from inside of sphere. An example of how Electromagnets may look like can be seen in attached pic. These Electroamagnets are to be controlled through commands from Computer. Computer and spheres must be connected wirelessly. One of the Sphere will be stationary. It will be fixed to a base Board. The Other Sphere must be able to move all around here with the help of Electromagnets. Please check the attached pic MP.jpg. Lets call the fixed Sphere as stationary sphere and movable one as movable sphere for rest of description. Coordination Between Spheres: When the system is started. One electromagnet from each sphere should be ON. Both Spheres should be in contact with each other at that point as shown in attached pic MP.jpg. Afterwards to move movable sphere on stationary one. The nearby electromagnets on each sphere shown by pink color must be made ON. The previous Electromagnets which were made ON at Start should go off now. So that movable sphere should now be in contact with stationary Sphere at new Join Point shown in pink color. Afterwards as per command from Computer the Spheres should join at joinpoints shown in green colors in [login to view URL] and so on. Controlling and Commanding these join points, the movable Sphere should move around on Stationary Sphere on commands from Computer. WE can use arduino or Raspberry or any board to realize the project. For powering System and Electromagnets in sphere. We can use small batteries inside the sphere. But if it increases too much weight of sphere making hindering its movement. We can put battery outside connected and powering Sphere through wire. But we must try our best to put batteries inside Sphere. Conditions for Successfull Project: 1) The Movable sphere should be movable around stationary Sphere with the help on Electromagnets only. 2) The movement should be programable through Commands from Computer. 3) The commands must be sent wirelessly from Computer to Spheres. 4) There should be atleast 12 mini electromagnets per sphere. 5) The Sphere should be movable atleast for a minute around the stationary one. With each joinpoint lasting at max for 1 second. 6) The program and procedure to change programable movement must be shared with Sponsor. 7) All the schematics, parts used and procedure used to create project must be shared with Sponsor.

Hi, I have experience in Arduino developing and complex algorithms programming. I have questions for your project: - if both spheres are on table? - can you illustrate movement trajectory from red to blue points? What are the directions of the axes of rotation of the two spheres? For each point need to do separated electromagnetic coil mounted in point (cell)? It is possible budget to exceed 750$ because need to develop and manufacture both spheres. This is R&D process to reach enought electromagnetic forse to rotate moving sphere. Arduino hardware and software is not problem. Best regards, Slavi.
