Delphi: Code to detect playing cards from an image

Your job is to develop code in Borland Delphi that analyzes an image and detects which playing cards are visible in the image.

You can use any existing pattern recognition code if you want, assuming its source codes are available. Or you can create the recognition code yourself.

The input of the system is an image with 0 to 10 playing cards. By playing cards I mean the Anglo-American playing cards with 52 cards: <[login to view URL]>

For a sample input, please see the attached image.

The output of the system is a string representation of these cards. For example, the correct output of the given sample input image would be:

h9 s8 h4 h3 dj

Note: The position of the cards can vary, the size of the cards can vary by few pixels, the space between the cards can vary, the bottom border of cards may not be fully visible, and the color of the background of the image can vary.

In final delivery, also include a simple demo program for easy testing of the code.
