Create a .do file for STATA that prepares raw survey data from Qualtrics

I've collected survey data using Qualtrics and I need a .do file to automate the preparation of that data for analysis in Stata. I have an excel file where I have used formulas in Excel and some tedious manual processes to create the output I need - that was done with a sample size of less than 100 but this new dataset has over 1000 responses and it would take too long and I might make mistakes if I try to do it manually this time around. I will provide 3 excel files: the Dataset, the Data Legend, and the Needed Format File The main tasks are the following: 1. Remove all responses with less than 50% of the questions answered 2. Assign variable names listed in the Data Legend to the questions in the dataset (where needed - this may not be necessary but please double check) 3. reformat the items in the Dataset to the format in the spreadsheet titled "needed format." Specifically, I need to do the following: - convert the values in items like "invint_p1" which range from "not at all interested" to "very interested" to the values in "invint_p1_new" which range from 1 to 5 (with "not sure" changing to 0) - separate variables such as reg_attr into several variables representing the different possible responses (in this case it separates into 10 different variables) - make any other changes in variables that result in a new variable (e.g., combining "religion" with "religion_det" to "religionnew"). The deliverable for this project is a do file that, when run in Stata, will convert the Raw Data New File into the format of the data in "Needed Format" Please note that Question 48 is new and can be given the variable name "why_not"
