Create a database and custom web based data entry form(s)
I am looking for someone to create a database and web based forms to be the base for data migration.
Currently we store data in excel files and paper records as well as in our accounting software. The accounting software stores data in an oracle database. I am hoping to eliminate the various excel files and paper records and make the new database link the records to our accounting database through unique identifiers (ie. equipment number, field code, etc.)
I was thinking of having the data entry portal be a web based form (intranet hosted on our server) but am open to suggestions. Data entry would be handled by up to 5 people simultaneously. I would prefer an open source database and am open to suggestions.
I am looking to implement this solution to hopefully migrate to a business intelligence suite (similar to YellowfinBI or Jaspersoft) to be able to report and analyze data from both databases in one view.
Getting this bid would also include recommendations on how to implement a business intelligence software solution.
