MONTHLY RETAINER BENEFITS & DETAILS
COST EFFECTIVE Since this an on-going project, it's more cost-effective to use monthly retainer or block of time instead of an hourly program. This allows you to RESERVE MY TIME FOR ALL YOUR PROJECTS.
BLOCKS OF TIME I recommend a block of 30 hours/month, averaging about 7.5 hours/week. Easily increase hours for your projects or just renew blocks of time as they're used. I will re-quote a larger block of time if needed.
ADDING BLOCKS OF TIME TO YOUR ACCOUNT After a block of time is spent, you'll have the option to reserve a new block of time, even in the middle of the month. I'll advise you when your block of time is running low and you'll have the option to renew immediately or wait until beginning of next month. All reserved time must be paid in advance before future work begins.
USE TIME AS NEEDED Sometimes you may have more pages to be transcribe or proofread after a burst of creativity or maybe setting up a new project and could use some assistance. Since setting up projects takes a little longer, and then balances out later, you may need more time for a while, and then less time later. Or a project could be more involved and require more time. Budget the time by the project & change the amount of hours needed monthly, with minimum of 10 hours per month.
It's a versatile, flexible, efficient way to accomplish the tasks you need completed in a timely manner.
Reserving a block of time guarantees the time will be available for your workload.
SCOPE OF WORK -- Upon project acceptance & receipt of initial 50% milestone payment in advance, I will use MS OFFICE, WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL to transcribe and proofread and format your PDF documents. I will proofread for punctuation, editing, grammar, spelling, consistency, accuracy and formatting.
All these tasks will be completed from my home office and I will contact you regularly by email,
PAYMENT SCHEDULE Monthly retainers are paid in advance before 1st of month for time to be reserved for work during the next month or until block of time is used. You'll be reserving time to start immediately and continuing during the month of April.
