Data Entry - Category Rearranging.

I have an excel spread sheet of 4,900 categories. The scope of this job it to reduce this to 400ish by creating a list of consolidated categories. You will be working from an excel spreadsheet, that contains 4 columns: Main Category Sub Category ID Merchant category The merchant category is the list that is already populated. You job will be to create a main & Sub category, so that each record has a coresponding Main and Sub. Example: If the merchant category is beds. then you would put the folling: Main Category: Home & Garden Sub Category: Bedroom Furniture ID: Merchant category: beds So again if you find a merchant category called: Wardrobes... then it would go in the same category as above!! if you dont understand from the above example then dont bid!!! You might want to use places like Ebay, Amazon, other Price Comparison sites as reference for well structured category lists. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
