I have experience in writing articles and blogging, here are some articles as an example:
The sands of time... Can life be reversible
Once I've seen a movie "Prince Persia: The sands of time" and it made me think of some
issues in my life I'd like to reverse. I think all of us every once in a while ask
ourselves one question "what would have happened if I did this or that differently in the
past", or "how different my life could have been if I didn't do this or that?"
As I recalled some movie scenes in my head I was drawing deeper and deeper into my past
regretting of some things and wishing I could have done them the other way. Thoughts were
coming into my mind about my childhood, my school years, my 20-ties and memories were just
jumping in like hard drops of rain banging on my head boom boom boom... What if, what if,
what if????!!!
But suddenly I caught myself on a thought: what if I could change some of those things?
Would I be bold enough to change them knowing that it would erase all of my future and
direct my life to a different course? Am I ready to open my eyes and instead of seeing
people, things, places I see everyday and so used to, I would see something else like
foreign places, strangers around me and things which don't belong to me! Am I ready to
face a butterfly effect???
In the movie things turn out so good for the main characters once they come back to the
past and come into the new future course, but it's just a movie with a happy ending.
What about real life?
The choices we make every day shape our future and set out our path, experiences we go
through help us to better understand how to deal with future challenges and mistakes we
make teach us how to grow and be stronger, would we have those valuable acquirements if we
had a dagger with the magic sand which could bring us back to the past every time things
would go wrong and we're not ready to face the consequences????
What do you dear readers think - if given a choice, would you like to correct some of the
past mistakes, bad decisions, etc, knowing that you might come back to a new unknown
future or would you rather live with what you have left as a result of your choices and
build your future based upon your past....???
Choices that we make
Have you ever heard a phrase that if you don't make choices in your life, your life will
make them for you? I've heard it but never thought of it to be true.
All I know is how hard is to sometimes make a choice, to come to a decision. Especially it
is difficult when such decision will influence not only you but also people you care
about. Sometimes a choice comes hard way because you don't want to offend anybody and want
everyone to gain from your decision or at least not be effected by it.
Have you ever faced such a choice, where there are people who are involved and you know
that by making certain moves you will hurt them and knowing that if you are not going to
make any moves you will hurt yourself? It is extremely difficult to live months after
month year after year with a dilemma in your head? What is it that has to be done to make
the right choice and to gain from it? What if there is no right or wrong answer? What if
you do something which eventually will cause some hurt and lead to unpleasant
circumstances?
What to do? Not make a decision and go on thinking about it and questioning yourself what
would happen if I do this or that? It's quite a task which takes a lot of mental and
emotional energy and strength away from us and doesn't let us sleep in peace with
ourselves.
We all know how to make a choice and we know what has to be done in order to make a right
one - something like writing down all the positive and negative possible results, thinking
about outcomes in the future, etc. Not going to talk about it because most of us know it
all or can read lots about it in the internet.
What I want to point out is something that we can't foresee, something that has to be done
in spite of all the circumstances, something which makes us step into the unknown,
sometimes risking what we have in order to have something we can only hope for or dream
about. Possible choices that push us out of our comfort zone or the ones that force us to
question our present living and satisfaction of it, these are the ones I'm talking about
and they are the ones some of us face, fear, avoid or make!
