We are currently seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Editor for our Canadian site. The site Editor will be responsible for producing and managing news content, working with existing opinion and analysis content contributors to the site as well as finding and on-boarding additional contributors, monitoring localization while also promoting the site on social media as well as through additional media outlets. Join us and…  Influence over 13M high profile traders and investors around the world Responsibilities: • Writing, editing and proofreading news and analysis items • Oversee site during Canadian market hours for localization/globalization • Search for local news sources • Search for local analysts, bloggers and additional financial content providers • Research and collaborate with analysts and authors in the financial field • Social Media and some PR Management Requirements: • Mother Tongue Canadian English - MUST • Experience as a Digital Writer, Journalist or Editor - MUST • Experience as a Digital Content Manager – Strong Advantage • Knowledge of economic and/or financial markets terminology – Strong Advantage • Online marketing experience - advantage • SEO experience- advantage • Self-starter able to juggle multiple priorities with a strong desire to meet and exceed expectations
