CMS Web Site

We are looking for high skill programmers to assist with open an source CMS site for a private K through 12 school in the Pacific Northwest. We will provide the working html site in Dreamweaver. We need content management system to update news and events as well as a searchable data base. Important element of the CMS is a customer data base and automated follow up to admission inquiries [login to view URL] This site is similar in scope to programming for this project. We support web standards that help meet or exceed WAI Priority One and Section 508 guidelines for accessibility. We work closely with clients to ensure that the site is accessible to audiences who require device independent websites and content delivery, including screen readers (for the visually-impaired), text browsers, PDAs, cell phones, and other digital devices that rely on web compliance standards. Other key elements that we require: • conform to W3C Standards • have valid mark-up and CSS • work with any standard browser • easy to maintain and update • do not use tables and frames • accessibility • download fast-considerate of 56.6 MS • are resolution independant • are search engine friendly Site will require verification for functionality by W3C Markup Validation Service, Web doc compliance in formats like HTML and XHTML for conformance to W3C recommendations and other standards.
