Aircraft Weight and Balance module for iOS

The goal is to develop a complete weight and balance module with graphical representation of flight envelope and ability to setup aircraft profiles. The module should be designed to run on iOS devices and must fit in an iPhone screen (on iPad it will be used as a popover module). The user interface will be designed with the widgets from the Cocoa for iOS framework. The custom drawing part must be developed by using the lower level CoreGraphics library in order to allow easy portability on the MacOS X platform. The model (computation part) can be optionally written in the C or C++ language in order to allow easy portability on other platforms. Before the module can be used, the user has to create an aircraft profile with flight envelope and values for weight and moments of various locations in airplane. The software will provide a few template profiles from famous general aviation aircraft. Once a profile is set, the enduser can input actual weight of objects and persons for each aircraft location. After the value was input a graphical representation of flight envelope and position of current balance. The templates and profiles must be persistent and must be stored in a structured file format (XML, etc). Please send proposition and information about previous developments when bidding.
