You will create Software that will modify data, enter data from a text file into the PDF document properties field, sort to folders, and create a report Part of the software task will create software that will take information from a text file and REPLACE any information into the Document Properties fields in PDF documents. The Document Properties fields are found by clicking on the ctrl key and the D key at the same time. There will be sets of two files. One will be a text file and one will be a PDF file. They will have the same file name, except for the file extension. You will create a single piece of software that will: 1. modify the first text file to search for specific data elements, and save to a new file called [login to view URL] 2. take the .tx2 file information and place in the pdf document properties box 3. sort the files into only one of the following folders, based on which fields have a value in them: - Product only - Company only - Data only - Product and Company and Date - Product and Date only - Product and Company only - Company and Date only 4. Create a spreadsheet that list, one pdf file per line: PDF file name, Product Name, Company Name, Date, Keyword Field data The following is for your reference and additional information: For example, the two file names may be [login to view URL] and cp1020.pdf. You will replace the information from [login to view URL] into the Document Properties fields in the [login to view URL] file. Every text document has the same format: Product: Product Name Company: Company Name Date: Date CAS: CAS number CAS: CAS number CAS: CAS number GHS: GHS Each of the fields may or may not have any values (they may be 0 or more CAS fields) As an example: Product: Windex Cleaner Company: Johnson Corporation Date: January 2, 2012 CAS: 133-22-1 CAS: 21-11-5 GHS: GHS Product name will be entered into the PDF TITLE field Company name will be entered into the PDF Author field Date will be entered into the Subject field Each CAS number will be entered into the Keywords field (there may be 0 or more CAS numbers) The GHS value will be entered into the last line of the Keywords field ( value may or may not be present) There are more tha 500,000 pairs of files that must be processed, so this must work very quickly. Please look at the pairs of files that have been attached. A demonstration program or other proof that you can accomplish this task would be helpful.
