I am very efficient in c++. I have 15 years c++ programming experience now, and have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on client side, i used c++ to make many great projects, for example, i made the tools which can convert PWScript(a script language created by our company for easy used by the game designer) to c++ files. I made our own mobile games. I can even show u the client. Please let the expert help you.

Hi, I am your programmer. I am dev and admin at autoit.es. (nick Basicos) You can see as I supported hundreds of devs problems and published tens thousands of code lines. Autoit if more efficient, quicker and portable. Compiler is also portable. Code is similar as Autoit is a kind of Basic, so it will speed up the migration process. Further questions of why move your project into Autoit, I am available. I can tweak the hour/cost in case you need. You have to consider than some programmers need some hours for function coding other programmers need minutes. If you need a manager of the project, then it could be possible. thanks

1. My Understanding. 1.1. Visual Studio does automatically upgrade VB6 projects. The latest version would not convert the legacy VB6 code. And I suppose converting first to an earlier version (VS2008), then going thru one or more conversions has been tried and found to result in incorrect or unmaintainable code. I have converted VB6 code to VS2010 2. My Experience. 2.1. I have converted a major VB6 project of mine, implementing DSP routines, to VB.NET. The main problem I found was with respect to handling of files. In the end I converted most my project to a COM object with appropriate interfaces. These could then be called from VB.NET code. I think the same strategy could be adopted for your project. 3. Here is what I would do: 3.1. Work out the basic building blocks of the code. Add required interfaces. 3.2. See if any of the modules can be converted by staged conversions to the latest VB.NET. Some may need minor modification. 3.3. Those modules that are difficult to modify, I will convert to COM objects using VB6. 4. Delivery. 4.1. Incremental/Staged delivery. Each module that is converted will be delivered along with tests. Project progress can thus be monitored with working code. 4.2. Payment scheduled based on staged delivery. Details can be worked out after I see the code.
