biziBee - a small application

**_Objectives:_**We require a small application; named “bizibee?? (like an ActiveX/OCX control) that would be installed on the end user’s system. Ideally we would prefer a platform independent (and if not platform independent then at this time we intend to support Microsoft windows OS). **_Required Technology:_** Preferred is Java or C#, **_.NET_** (platform independent), C++, or any (please recommend, if you have better option). **_Features:_** The application should be designed to complete the following tasks: -Make our website (that would be defined on our server in the settings) their home page. -The application will monitor all installed browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox etc.) and set their home pages. Ensure that our website remains the user’s homepage; if the homepage is changed either by another program or manually it should automatically revert back to our website at the next restart of internet browser (preferred) / computer restart. -Display notification/news (like the effect of ‘Google notify’ **). This notifications/news would be displayed on specified intervals (where settings may be modified server side). This notifications / news cannot be pulled, only pushed by Server randomly OR the application will fetch the data from online server/db to show notifications / news, while fetching data it will also insert one entry in the database for this “biziID?? number. -The application would be able to communicate with website pages, like the application will keep the updated information in cookies or any other format from where the company pages / website will read this information to show the respective information on this computer. For complete details, please read the attached file. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
