I need to do accurate measurement with an Arduino. In my project I need to filter the data acquired by a sonar to avoid unwanted noise. I'd like also to know if there is a simple hardware solution to reduce the noise. The ideal candidate is able to program in Arduino's language and has knowledge about electronics. I can provide remboursement for buying the necessary hardware.

Hello, your project looks very interesting, how do you receive the data from the sonar? Do you have some samples of the input and output you want to get?

I have done Arduino projects before using sonar sensors. I just need to know how you are planning on connecting the sensors to the Arduino, and which sonars you are planning on using.

Hi, I own both arduino and a sonar (ultrasonic sensor). I do robotics research and have tons of experience with sensors and data filtering. I will need for you to deffine what will you consider as noise for your measurments. Note that the sensor itself has internal noise, and if this is the type of noise you want to filter it can be done only with other inputs and methods such as Kalman Filter. But if the noise you are refering to is filtering out small objects or very short readings of the sensor, then this can be done with arduino code. Please msg me with any questions you might have. Regards, Ivan
