This project is to develop a HD media player (targeted for Audio) in MAC OS with some features that is only applicable to to our hardware product. A lot of reuse of open source code and integration. Knowledge of integration with iTunes, or iTunes itself is a MAJOR PLUS!! This application will in on all MAC products including ipad, iphone and MAC itself Attached is the brief specification for the phase 1 HD player.

You should consider going the API route which will give you greater flexibility in the future so your app can just use the API.
