I'm back, hope you've been well? I better mention that It's late here and I've had an exhausting long day so if I forget to mention something or not clarify something as I should pls feel free to flag that up and get back on it when I'm in much better state of mind.
So we already have the logo, which is what I'm looking to mostly use for our stationery design project, and maybe have the rest of designs simple and clean? just to allow the logo to take the center stage. The more I'm working with the logo the more I realize how perfect it is, I'm really happy with it. I managed to test the logo on some packaging the other day and it is just perfect, will upload images for you to see another time.
I would like this to be double sided. One side to have the logo centered on Robin's egg blue coloured background. The other side can then contain info and some design of some sort, or not? Perhaps some of the writing can be in Robin's egg blue to echo the colour from the other side? I would value your input here.
I have a mirror I hope to use for a photo shoot for my products that has a design that I like, perhaps that can offer some inspiration decorative designs for the business cards/ throughout the stationery.
I think I would like this to have the logo at the top, again centered. I think I would like for the address and other contact details to be at the bottom, so the top remains clean, what do you think? The contact details at the bottom can then be on a Robin's egg blue coloured background. So the colour sort of goes across the page, just wide enough to accommodate the contact details. But the strip of colour can perhaps be decorative along the top line? So it's delicate and decorative so to balance the decorative logo at the top, is this possible to do with just colour? I would like the design to be able to work even when printed in blk and white, so I would be keen to have the shapes work well in colour and vice versa.
I will be looking to adapt the letterhead design for emails, invoices eg on paypal/sent with products etc. So it ought to be versatile somewhat.
These will hopefully follow similar design to the letterhead. I would like some consistency so not sure what to do here, but I wouldn't want the design to look cramped or just be a miniature version of the letterhead, perhaps just to have its own individual twist. What do you think?
I think I like the envelop design where the opening is on the side. I would like to have the logo on the left side corner of the envelop, can be towards the top end or not, depends on what looks best. I'm still undecided whether I would like for the whole envelop to be coloured (Robin's egg blue) or remain white, in which case we would be looking to introduce that colour somehow. Maybe sit the logo on Robin's egg blur colour block? Not sure, what would you suggest?
The web banner
This is for Etsy mainly, but I would be looking to use the design for social media sites as well. They are usually not that spacious so again, have the logo to the side this time, I'm thinking to the left? The background will again be Robin's egg blue, then to the right some words (still working on these)
I have attached some files hopefully they cover the ideas I've mentioned. There are some pics of the frame I've mentioned, and some other pics I took when I visited Victoria and Albert Museum the other day. They had a display of silver in a room they painted in Robin's egg blue colour, was glad to see visually the idea I had in mind. I would however like a paler shade of Robin's egg blue compared to what they've used, something towards the tones they use on Tiffany's jewelry box.
Hopefully that's sufficient to get us started? I'm still working on what info I want displayed where, so details will follow shortly, I thought maybe we could start on design and layout aspects.
