Hello my name is Antonio Torres, I am an electromechanical engineer, I have a master in Structural Design. And have five years of experience in mechanical design development. I am certified as professional in SolidWorks, and currently I am an ASME member. I have design pneumatic tanks for cements and grain materials (you can see one in my portfolio) and I have design two silos , one for cement (currently working in a plant in Mexico for the company Cemex) and one silo for glass (Vitro Vidrio S.A.) I will deliver the SolidWorks files (assemblies and parts), and manufacturing drawings, including weldments notes and BOM's. Also I will deliver reports for the next analysis: Structural Analysis (Using Software Cype according to the Euro norms and regulations): This analysis will include the weather combinations, for this I will be requering the zone where its going to be used. Having 6 years of experience in design of steel and concrete structures, I did various projects for multinational companies like: Lidl, Auchan, Kaufland, Cora and Bricostore. My biggest project is the design for the hospital in Iraq. This project was a challenge for me because I had to design a structure with concrete walls and floor slab in a seismic zone in concordance with Eurocodes, facing and adapting the norms and codes to Iraqi methodology. I designed many steel and concrete structures for the office and residential buildings. I am a structural engineer and carry extensive experience in use of analysis and design software based on finite element analysis. Software including ETABS, SAFE Structures, SAP2000, and ANSYS can be used for analysis and design purpose. Autodesk Autocad and Autodesk 3d Max can be used in making final drawings with complete details including plans, sections, and a 3D model of the project. The fasteners and welds can be designed on Eurocode or AISC and will depend upon the requirement of client for further detailing. Stair design can be concrete or steel stair as per client's requirement. Sheet gauges and relevant supports will be designed separately to ascertain economy and safety of the area.
