Where do I start? Fifty-four years old. Had children's book published by Dorrance (I had 2 offers, unfortunately don't think I chose the right one), "Mrs. Dishes". Went to private schools/National Honors Society/straight A in English/Literature. Associates degree in Early Childhood Ed. Masters in Trauma/Tragedy. My first husband, childhood sweetheart, was tragically killed, industrial accident, 8 months to the day after our wedding...oldest son has had five major surgeries involving 2 colostomies and was in a coma and suffered permanent brain damage. My middle son was killed in 2010 in a horrific car accident; he was only 22. When you lose a child, you never fully recover. Writing has been my release and thankfully is a gift. I have lived a personal tsunami. Almost 2 years after losing my middle son, my youngest son was in a skateboarding accident. Long-story-short, he suffered a serious TBI, was in an induced coma, life support, tracheotomy, feeding tube, skull out, given no hope. Against all odds he did survive and is now recovering; but will never be the same. The tsunami continued; my mother who was my best friend was run over by a pick-up truck and died thee weeks later in 2012, and then 9 months later my father died in my arms of Mesothelioma. Even as a writer, there are no words. Working on the story of my life; could be turned into a mini-series and will have it all: romance, comedy, drama, horror, science fiction. Also sing/act and have done theater and commercials.
