How would you understand that you need to Lose Weight?
People have a common belief that they are obese or overweight due to their slow metabolism. A common phrase goes something like this, “It is the fault of my metabolism, which is slow”. It is a common phrase and may be you too have uttered these words a number of times. It is also another way to justify the weight gain, despite each less – some people have the tendency to put on weight!
Experts hold that metabolism, defined as the ability of the body to burn more calories, actually tend to vary from one person to another and is generally faster in young people including children, men, people who are active and exercise regularly, women during pregnancy and others having the genetic ability to burn calories. Nonetheless, despite the fact that you do not belong to any of these categories mentioned above, you can still increase your metabolic rate and figure out how you can lose weight rapidly and keep it off for long.
But, above all, if your doctor suggests that your health is fine and so are the functions of different organs, a bit of extra eight here and there should not matter. However, if your activity level is affected, you’ll have to do something about it.
Being overweight simply means that your weight is higher than the usual or normal weight when compared to your height. If you have actually put on too much weight, you’ll have to assess how the increased body weight is affecting your health
