Here is some info you can go off of: Since ’08, 1,156 students have withdrawn from Brockton Public Schools (12%) according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Many of these students have been left out of the GED Prep programs and, in 2012, Brockton had a districts-wide percentage of just 2% of students obtain their GED. According to the American Council of Education (ACE), the agency that oversees GED testing policy, 68% of jobs in 2018 are projected to require a high school diploma/GED, up from 28% in 1973.
