Character Biographies Written. - repost -

Hi There,

I am looking to start a creative writing group/role play and would like to have some developed biographies to start. They will need to be between 250-500 words each and will be written by you, we will give a brief plot of the setting and an overview of the characters I have already written. If we are happy with your work we will be looking at 10 of these to start, and will probably have ongoing work depending on our success. You need to have impeccable English and great creative flair. Please bid with your hourly rate, how long you think one will take you to write and also a sample of your English. We will pay $2 per bio for an order of 5 to start and if after this batch we are happy with your work will increase the rate up to around $5 a bio (or more we will negotiate). Please also state how long you expect the 5 will take.

This is an example of what we would be after:

Born in England, Griffith West had a pretty easy time growing up. The son of an accountant and his wife, he was close to both of his parents and always felt loved and cared for. A head strong child with a heart of gold, Griffith figured out his direction in life pretty young. He wanted to be a doctor, to be able to help the sick and save lives. His parents supported it, though assumed he would change his mind several times. However, as he grew older the dream only got stronger and Griffith showed how serious he was about it as he set out to make it come true. Working hard at school to get good marks, taking first aid courses on the weekends and volunteering for many different groups on the weekend.

Though he was strongly focused on the dream he had his next door neighbor, turned best friend, turned girlfriend to remind him there was more to life then keeping his head in the books and helping out other people. A fun loving girl with an adventurous spirit, Lia had a real love of life and lived for the moment. Often dragging Griffith out of his room to make sure he had a social life and he’d get her to do enough work to make sure she would graduate even though she had no plans to do further study.

Things seemed to be going well with both surviving their A level exams and looking forward to the next stage of their lives. However, driving home from a celebration their car was hit by a drunk driver. The crash wasn’t minor and as the passenger Griffith managed to escape with minor injuries, but Lia was in a worse state. In a critical condition, Griffith tried to assist her, but despite his best efforts she passed away before the ambulance arrived.

After the accident Griffith was on auto pilot, functioning automatically, but not allowing himself to feel or acknowledge the loss as graduation came and went and he was accepted into his dream school. However, the dream was no longer a dream anymore. All the courses and knowledge he had gained hadn’t done anything. Medicine couldn’t save the one person that he needed to and he didn’t want to waste his time with it anymore. Declining the offer he instead decided to go backpacking around the world, something Lia had planned to do. She had often spoken about experiencing life in different ways, seeing how the locals lived, having no plan, just going with the flow. It was her dream and now Griffith was making it his.

Now 20, Griffith has found his way to the town. Though he had plans to move on months ago, the place has charmed him and given him somewhere he can call home again. A lot less serious than he used to be, Griffith really tries to get the most out of life and has recently embraced his forgotten love of music, often playing his guitar around the Island. Very sociable he is friendly to most, but hasn’t let himself get too close to anyone.
