Configure access policies to Amazon CloudFront & S3 to prevent hotlinking of images/PDFs -- 2

I recently came across websites which embed/hotlink my files by including these files (images/PDFs) e.g. in HTML iframes. Even though there are examples of how to prevent this using Amazon S3 bucket policies, I'm unable to define such a policy possibly because there is one policy (created by another freelancer) in place already. The main goal of this project is to define an appropriate S3 bucket policy (CORS configuration?) to prevent hotlinking by unauthorized domains, i.e., all except 2 authorized domains.

The Amazon S3 files are served through Amazon CloudFront where "origins" and "behaviors" can be defined. I'm not sure if any of these settings need to be modified as well. Last not least, the S3 files can all be accessed by by public links and I wonder if access to these URLs can be restricted as well.

I need a freelancer who has done this before.
