After Effects import script

I need a solution for importing fields from a GPX-file into a After Effects project. While shooting video I also use a GPS recorder. I want to be able to insert fields from the GPX file into the video. So lets imagine your are driving a car and shooting a video from inside the car. In the video I want the speed, altitude or direction of the car to be displayed as text (or a speedometer) in the video. I need a solution for this. From the GPX file it shall be possible to choose while information to collect. This could be: *speed *elevation *heading *distance from start In order to sync the GPX file to the video, i should be able to define a starting point in the video and in the GPX file, which is the same. The value shall be implemented in the video, at a predefined place, and are updated according to the GPX-file. The value can be displayed as text or as a graphical element (like a speedometer). It must be possible for me to change the GUI of this.
