Midterm Paper Instructions British Culture Writing Tutorial 2014 1. Read The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe; write a three page essay on a topic of your choice. The essay has to discuss the play and prove its thesis by quoting evidence from the text. 2. You cannot use any secondary sources in your essay (unless approved by me). Any use of other sources (books, journals, websites etc…) without proper citation is PLAGIARISM and is forbidden by university laws. Tel Aviv University values academic integrity. Therefore, all students must understand the meaning and consequences of cheating, plagiarism and other academic offences under the code of student conduct and disciplinary procedures. Students found plagiarizing will be given a numeric 0 for the assignment. A letter documenting the plagiarism will also be placed in the student’s file.
