Business Management Course - Create a Powerpoint presentation for Academic Skills Module

The 7-minute presentation (using PowerPoint) should be reflective in focus and is based on the following elements taken from the Academic Skills Journal (photos will be sent) and written assignment: 1. SWOT analysis: how you addressed your weaknesses and threats. 2. Your personal development plan (PDP) and the objectives you set out this term. 3. How feedback (in various forms) has impacted on your learning. 4. How you approached the problem-solution-evaluation written task (identify problems you had with completing the task and how these were addressed and what you have learned from the writing process). 5. 3 new objectives for next term, based on lessons learned this term. You should think of the presentation as an opportunity to show: ➢ how you have progressed since the beginning of the course ➢ how you overcame issues you had this term ➢ how elements of the course have (positively) impacted on your learning and progress. ➢ How your academic skills have developed. You should allow 3 minutes at the end of your presentation for your peers and/or lecturer to ask questions. Further guidelines: ➢ The above information needs to be included/ referred to in the presentation, but how the information is presented, and in what order is up to you to decide. ➢ The format of the presentation should be a PowerPoint slide presentation. This needs to be saved on a USB and brought to the assessment. It is also recommended that you save a copy via email. ➢ The structure of the presentation should include: title; overview; main body; conclusion; references. ➢ Research/ reading should be referred to in the presentation.
