I need a script written on my website that acts independently of the e-commerce solution.
I have a shopping cart form that gathers data from the user, then sends them off to a credit card page. I would like to capture the data from the 1st page shopping cart form and also send it to another db on one of my other servers - this is for the marketing dept.
Every time I try to attach another action to the form, I get an error
form method="post" id="form2" name="form2" action="[login to view URL], www.caterdata.com/acai/insert.asp"
I do not have access to the back-end of the shopping cart but can put scripts in the front end of the page.
I've heard about a javascript that can independently capture the form fields from a page /and/or assigning two actions to a single button and the like but am not a real programmer and don't know how to approach this.
Hi As per your suggestion we can submit the same form data to two different target pages using javascript. I can provide you the required function. Waiting for your reply - Nirmal
