I am looking to hire someone full time to help our company develop a web application. The following are required:
• ASP.NET
• C#
• AJAX
• JQuery
• HTML5
• Kendo UI
• SQL (preferably mssql)
• Windows & IIS (in order to setup the application on our hosted servers)
• Experience setting up web applications on cloud servers
• Other programming languages a plus
We have developed exactly what the application needs to do (user specifications, data flow, etc…), and we have developed the rough wire frames of how the application will look and feel. I need the back end coded and graphics procured (if you can design them yourself that is a plus if not we can find someone to do that).
The ideal candidate will live in Los Angeles and will work from wherever they like but must be able to meet in person as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing web applications for a large user base and will have experience in user interface design. The user base of this application is not very technically savvy and as such the user interface needs to be clean, efficient, and easy to use. It also needs to be scalable, we anticipate as many as 5,000 people might be using the application at any given time.
The ideal candidate will need to work well with deadlines and time limits. We have a limited period of time to build, test, and launch the website as such missed deadlines will not be tolerated and could lead to termination of the contract.
All code developed for this application will be owned and will be the sole property of Red Head Ventures.
We anticipate the project taking approximately 3 months to complete, however faster is always better. We are offering $10,000 for the development of the entire application. Some funds are available for the purchase of necessary framework technology (i.e. Kendo UI). All payments will be made based on completed milestones, not hourly work. While this is a defined project, once the application is built we will likely be looking to keep this person on full time to help with future development needs.
All applicants will need to perform a simple programming test for me prior to being fully considered for the position. Coding standards and notes are critical. If you aren’t comfortable documenting what all aspects of your code is designed to perform then you need not apply. If you are interested in being considered for this project please send us an email.
